Algorithmic technologies are everywhere, and along with it a challenge to informed consent and disability rights. In this presentation, the keynote speaker will discuss the emergence of pervasive mental health and disability policies and the rise of surveillance technology in the United States.


Goals and Objectives:

  • To strengthen the awareness of surveillance technology as it relates to people labeled with psychiatric diagnoses and disabled people.
  • Inspire discussions related to surveillance, community organizing, and policy change as it relates to mental health and disability rights.
