Maya Kotob studied at University of Manchester, UK, where she completed her Law Degree and her Masters in Healthcare Law and Ethics. Her Masters thesis focused on Mental Health Law, particularly on the role of risk in justifying the powers of mental health confinement. As a student with Anita Szigeti advocates, Maya assisted in preparing for complex Coroner’s Inquests and appeal files. Maya was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2018 and is currently an associate at Anita Szigeti Advocates.
