Proposals in Congress to Amend the ADA: What advocates should know

Both advocates and opponents of the Americans with Disabilities Act have been considering amending it, and Congress is beginning to discuss the possibility of clarifying amendments. This workshop will discuss proposed amendments to the ADA, their status, and what advocates should know about them. In addition, if time permits, other legislation relevant to disability rights advocates will be discussed.
