Practical Strategies & Specific Resources from The Social Justice Sisters
Carolyn Pettit-Lange & Ele Munjeli
Successful Grant Writer/Program Designer Carolyn Pettit-Lange and IT Wizard/ Computer Programmer Ele Muni share their favorite tips for expanding social justice in this Discussion-style Mash-Up.
Using Carolyn's work within the c/s/x and recovery movement as a touchstone, the sisters identify specific challenges encountered by groups marginalized and/or oppressed. The two will then outline needs typically encountered by minority groups and how technology, related strategies and tools can be used to resolve problems and create rocket fuel to power movement toward social justice. During the latter half of the workshop, Carolyn and Ele will facilitate a dynamic[ discussion of practical strategies and resource sharing much like the conversations they share over the family dinner table.
