Joel Thompson, J.D.

Joel Thompson is a staff attorney at Prisoners Legal Services of Massachusetts (PLS) and a Clinical Instructor at the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project (PLAP). In the past he has served as a supervising attorney at PLAP, and he also worked there as a student at Harvard Law School. After law school, he held a clerkship in Vermont, worked for a large law firm in Maine, a small firm in Connecticut, where he worked for the defense in a federal death penalty case. At PLS, he co-chairs the Health Care Project at PLS, and most of his litigation docket centers around health care.
