Raquel Rosa

Raquel Rosa is the Community Relations Specialist at the National Disability Rights Network (NDRN). She joined NDRN in September 2019, first as a member of the representative payee team and now with the external relations team. She has a lifelong connection to the disability community through family. Her career, now spanning two decades, has allowed her to provide direct supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities; to serve as an advisor to self-advocates who educate others on issues important to and for people with disabilities; and to contribute research and public-facing resources as a collaborator on several federal grants. She is a founding member of DC Metro Sibs, a support group for adults with siblings who have disabilities. Raquel received her BA in Disability Studies from the City University of New York, and her MS in Nonprofit Management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
