Kristina Kapp

Kristina Kapp (KK) tapped her well of human potential to supersede chromosomal birth defects, childhood prognoses, and expectations that she would live her life within the walls of institutions. She viewed her disability and trauma as opportunities to learn, grow, and raise the bar to a standard above and beyond the conventional belief that neurodiversity limits who we are. KK has worked in the behavioral health, disability justice, and advocacy fields for twenty-four years as a rights activist/ambassador. She is founder and Executive Director of Beliefactory and H2H Consulting Group. KK chairs Ohio's Protection & Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Advisory Council and is a member of Disability Rights Ohio’s Board of Directors (P&A). She is also Vice President of NARPA and a member of the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) Mental Health Subcommitteee.

KK has painted a beautiful masterpiece of life. Hope and belief in herself and others was the foundation on which she built her future. KK has blazed a trail and ignited a revolution in alternative workarounds, innovations and creative development cultivating hope, sowing seeds of empowerment, and watering them with her belief in her own and every human’s potential. Without hesitation, she very proudly lives her life out loud.
