Julia Graff, J.D.

Julia Graff, a staff attorney at the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, advocates on behalf of people with mental illnesses and behavioral disabilities, primarily by working on systemic changes in the delivery of special education services for children and in the provision of integrated, supported housing for adults. Before joining the Bazelon Center in October 2010, Julia served as an associate at a small civil rights law firm and, prior to that, as a fellow at Public Citizen Litigation Group and as a staff attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of Delaware.

After graduating from the University of Louisville with majors in Political Science and Spanish, Julia was a human rights advocate in Guatemala and Colombia for several years. She is a graduate of the American University Washington College of Law.
