Susan Froetschel is the author of two mystery books, Interruptions and Alaska Gray. In Interruptions (Five Star Press, 2004) a mother battles the school district over medicating her son, labeled ADHD, amid environmental controversy and a murder investigation. Susan also writes on health, environment and business issues.
Ms. Froetschel is on the faculty of Southern Connecticut State University's Department of Journalism. She has written for a variety of magazines and newspapers. She was a copy editor at Esquire, House Beautiful, and Self magazines and published a mystery novel called Alaska Gray. She was a reporter and photographer for five years at the Daily Sentinel in Sitka, Alaska.
