Kent Earnhardt, J.D., Ph.D., is a long-term mental health consumer/survivor and consumer advocate, a former college professor, and a licensed Georgia attorney. In 2004 -- 2006, he has served on the US Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Center for Mental Health Services (US DHHS/SAMHSA/CMHS) Annual PAIMI Peer Review Team. Since 2003 he has also served on the PAIMI Advisory Council of the North Carolina Protection and Advocacy Program. He has also served on the state boards of directors of Carolina Legal Assistance: a Mental Health Law Project; and the NC Mental Health Consumers'Organization.
