Emily Cooper, J.D.

Emily Cooper graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2003. She has spent her legal career practicing in areas of public interest focusing on state and federal benefits law as well as addressing the issues impacting individuals with disabilities. She has been a staff attorney at Disability Rights Washington since 2006. Professional activities include serving on the American Civil Liberties Union (“ACLU”) of Washington's Board of Directors, Washington State Bar Association (“WSBA”) Washington Attorneys with Disabilities Association, WSBA Bar Examiners Committee, WSBA GLBT Bar Association, and the King County Bar Association (KCBA) Volunteer Attorney for People with AIDS (VAPWA). Prior to attending law school, Emily earned a B.A. in English at University of Colorado.
