Jennifer Chambers is Executive Director of the Empowerment Council – Systemic Advocates in Addictions and Mental Health.

Jennifer Chambers is Executive Director of the Empowerment Council – Systemic Advocates in Addictions and Mental Health. The EC is a peer advocacy organization. She is also Community Co-Chair of the Mental Health and Addictions Panel of the Toronto Police Services Board. She has facilitated standing and testified at inquests examining the deaths of ten people in crisis who died in encounters with police, and served as an expert witness at Human Rights Tribunals.
